Case Study:

Mr A claimed asylum in the UK after fleeing his home country of Togo where he had been imprisoned and tortured for political reasons.

After taking a very detailed account of what happened to him, we were able to draft a statement that served as evidence in his case. We were then able to obtain further documentation to corroborate his story. This evidence, along with further representations, were put to the Home Office. As a result he was subsequently granted asylum in the UK.

We then assisted his wife and children with their application at the British High Commission abroad, to be reunited with him in the UK. They have just been granted visas to enter the UK, and we are anticipating that they will shortly enter this country to be with him after more than six years apart.
