Management Commitee
Its job is to make sure that the Law Centre continues to meet the needs of the users and communities of Gloucester that it serves and that it is accountable to its members.
The Law Centre is keen to involve people from all sections of the community. We would particularly welcome nominations from ethnic minority groups, people with disabilities, women and young people, who are all present under-represented on the Management Commitee.
We are always looking for new members for the Management Commitee. Current skills we are looking for include: experience in Management, Human Resources, Legal, Financial and Community Development.
The full Management Commitee meets monthly but much of its work is carried out by smaller sub-groups that deal with specific issues such as personnel, finance and equal opportunities. The full commitee usually meets in the evening while sub-groups meet at times agreed by their members. Members are able to claim out of pocket expenses incurred attending meetind for such things as travel, child minding or other caring responisibilities.
